The Spirit of America Will Prevail

Washington D.C. – Congressman Kevin McCarthy (CA-23) made the following statement regarding the tragedy in Boston this morning:

"As our country comes together to pray for those who were killed and those who were injured, and you watch that video of the bombing we cannot forget the spirit of America. When you watch those individuals run to those in need, not knowing what could happen to them as well, that spirit is going to unite this country. We have committed all resources to make sure we find the perpetrators and bring them to justice, but also be able to heal Boston and the rest of the country."
