McCarthy Celebrates School Groundbreaking

Ridgecrest, CA - Congressman Kevin McCarthy released the following statement on the groundbreaking ceremony for a new Murray Middle School and a revitalized Burroughs High School. 

"Just last week, we were reminded by the Secretary of Defense of our community's unique role in leading the future of our country with world-class research and development. That same commitment to excellence must be represented with the education of our next generation. Today's groundbreaking is the first step in establishing a center for learning for our students that reflects the cutting edge advances that our Ridgecrest community is known for. I want to thank Senate Republican Leader Jean Fuller for her hard and persistent work to make this day possible and to prepare our children to lead in the 21st Century."
