McCarthy Applauds Central Valley Residents’ Appointments to Federal Trade Advisory Committees
Today, Congressman Kevin McCarthy congratulated two Central Valley residents on their appointments to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and United States Trade Representative (USTR) agricultural trade advisory committees. Robert “Bob” Hawk of Munger Farms will serve on the Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee, and Alicia Rockwell of Blue Diamond will serve on the Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee for Trade in Fruits and Vegetables.
McCarthy released the following statement:
“I want to congratulate Bob and Alicia on their well-deserved appointments to federal trade advisory committees today. Each brings a wealth of knowledge, unmatched experience, and profound understanding of Central Valley agriculture and trade that will benefit the USDA and USTR as policies are developed and implemented. I commend Agriculture Secretary Perdue and Ambassador Lighthizer on their decision to appoint Bob and Alicia to these advisory committees; they are sure to make our community proud."
