Feb 7, 2019
Press Release

Congressman Kevin McCarthy announced that Mr. Perry Finzel and Mr. Gary Medina, both of Bakersfield, have joined his Bakersfield office as Fellows from the Wounded Warrior Program of the House of Representatives:

“I am proud to announce that Mr. Finzel and Mr. Medina will be completing the remainder of their Wounded Warrior Program fellowships in my Bakersfield office. With the terms of Congressman Valadao and Congressman Knight having recently ended, I was honored to extend an offer to these decorated veterans to join my staff. I am confident that they will continue to excel in their new roles, and that the citizens of the Central Valley, Antelope Valley, and Indian Wells Valley will benefit from their knowledge and experience. Both Mr. Finzel and Mr. Medina have illustrious military backgrounds and proven track records of exceptional public service, and I am excited to continue working to advance the interests of our constituents with them on board.”

The Wounded Warrior Program provides veterans with two-year fellowships in the House of Representatives. Each Congress, 54 honorably discharged veterans are selected to work in Member District Offices across the country. To learn more about the Wounded Warrior Program, please click here.
