Congressman McCarthy Votes Against Wall Street Bailout

Washington D.C. – Today, Congressman Kevin McCarthy released the following statement after voting against the Wall Street bailout:

"Unfortunately, the Wall Street bailout proposal the House voted on today went too far to reward bad decisions on Wall Street at the expense of America's middle class and the freedom of America's markets. I continue to support working out an improved solution strengthening our financial markets that is paid for by Wall Street, not American taxpayers."
